Announcing the 1st Annual San Dimas Raptor Rescue Golf Tournaments and Fundraiser!
We are pleased to invite you to the 1st Annual San Dimas Raptor Rescue Golf Tournaments and Fundraiser, to be held on October 8, 2026, at Marshall Canyon Golf Course in La Verne, California.
Hosted by the Los Angeles County Parks Foundation in support of the County of Los Angeles San Dimas Raptor Rescue Center, this event is more than a golf tournament it is a celebration of the important connection between wildlife conservation, preservation of green space, and an opportunity to give back.
Golf courses like Marshall Canyon serve as valuable wildlife habitat. Their open fairways, trees, and natural features also provide refuge for raptors such as hawks, owls, and falcons. Golf courses are also an example how recreation and conservation can successfully coexist. As the need for natural habitat increases, green space has become even more critical for wildlife survival by providing food, shelter, and safety.
Each year, the San Dimas Raptor Rescue Center provides life-saving care for hundreds of injured, orphaned, or displaced birds of prey. Recent wildfires, including the Eaton Fire, have displaced wildlife into urban areas in large numbers, which has increased the need for rescue and rehabilitation services. Funds raised from this golf tournament will directly support veterinary care, rehabilitation, and release efforts for rescued raptors.
We would love to invite you and your organization to sign up for the tournament and/or become a VIP sponsor of the event.
